If you are planning to see an existing patient via telemedicine for a follow-up appointment here are a few tips we recommend:

  1. Make sure they have an iPhone or Android smartphone and have data/wifi access where they will be.
  2. Make sure they understand that the call will be via a downloadable app from the comfort of their own home or workplace.
  3. Have a nurse or office staff member help them download the app directly to their mobile device and help them register for an account before they leave.
  4. Give them an OrthoLive patient handout before they leave so they can read about the benefits of virtual visits.
